Netflix and Chill, well that maximum of us what we want to do in our free time. With our love ones or our close friends and yes family of course. So many of us might be confused about “what to watch?” even we do a check on the star rating to help ourselves, at least we don’t want to spoil our mood or the moment by watching something boring. Here I go for you to present top 10 Netflix Original that most of the Indians loved watching.


  • Sacred games


It is an Indian web television thriller series based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel named as “Sacred Games”. This web series is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap who produced it under their banner Phantom Films. The novel was adapted by Varun Grover, Singh, and Vasant Nath. Kelly Luegenbiehl, Erik Barmack, and Motwane served as the executive producers.

Starring from Saif Ali Khan as Sartaj Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde other artists as well. 

It is tale of dark side of Mumbai filled with drugs, sex, violence and most importantly the political corruption. This series also dares to play with the most controversial element, i.e. God and religion which in India is a risky business.


  • Ghoul


It is an Indian horror web television miniseries based in Arab Folklore monster ghoul and a second Netflix Original from India, after Sacred Games. This series is written and directed by Patrick Graham and jointly produced by Jason Blum, Anurag Kashyap, Ryan Turek, Vikramaditya Motwane, Michael Hogan, Kilian Kerwin, John Penotti and Suraj Gohill under their respective banners Blumhouse Productions, Phantom Films and Ivanhoe Pictures

A young interrogating officer named Nida Rahim’s quest to search for the truth becomes a survival sequence for the officer after curious events start to occur. Soon, it is found out that one of the inmates has been inhabited by a Ghoul, and has been the reason for everything wrong inside the jail premises.


  • Delhi Crime


It is a fictional Indian web television series of crime drama written and directed by Richie Mehta. It is based on the 2012 Gang Rape case that took place in the neighbourhood of Munirka, in South Delhi. The series follows the story in the aftermath of the gang rape, where DCP Vartika Chaturvedi is tasked to find the culprits responsible for the assaults and death of the female victim.

Starring with Shefali Shah as Vartika Chaturvedi, Rasika Dugal as Neeti Singh, Adil Hussain as Kumar Vijay, Rajesh Tailing as Bhupendra Singh and other artists.



  • Lust Stories

An anthology of four stories that sheds light on modern relationships from the viewpoint of the Indian women. The four stories have been separately directed by Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee, Co-producer by Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP and Ashi Dua of Flying Entertainment. It was nominated for International Emmy Award for Best TV Movie or Miniseries.

In Anurag Kashyap’s story Radhika Apte as Kalindi as a college professor. Inspired by his husband’s adventurous stories of love and numerous short-term relationships, Kalindi is also on a mission to explore her sexual desires. She dated one of her colleague named as Neeraj and one of her student named as Tejas.

In Karan Johar’s story Kiara Advani as Megha who is engaged to be married to Vicky Kaushal i.e. Paras an office worker. Megha is a young school teacher. One day she found out that her colleague Rekha using vibrator for sexual pleasure in school library. This motivate her to use a vibrator and later on she has to face some trouble with her relationship with Paras and his family.

In Zoya Akhtar’s story Bhumika Pednekar as Sudhaa was working as a maid on a daily basis on Ajit’s apartment who’s bachelor. They were in a secret sexual relationship. Later Ajit’s parents arrive to stay for some days. And some other day Ajit’s parents fixed his marriage, Sudha left heart broken.

In Dibakar Banerjee’s story Manisha Koirala as Reena is a banker and she was having an extra marital affair with her husband’s close friend. Salman, Reena’s husband suspects her that she was cheating, and one day he caught her with his close friend. Reena reveals her 3 years of affair with Sudhir and she also says that she’s unhappy in their marriage. But later on, they settled themselves.



  • Selection Day

It is an Indian Netflix Original Sports web television series, based on Aravind Adiga’s 2016 novel named as Selection Day. Produced by Anil Kapoor and Anand Tucker. Directed by Udhayan Prasad and Karan Boolani.

This series follow the life of two brothers Radha that is Yash Dholye and Majnu that is Mohammad Samad who are raised by their cricket obsessed father and meet their rival Javed that is Karanvir Malhotra. Their father trained them to become the next great pair of cricket batsmen. After some days in village toying with local village team their father decides to move to Mumbai for the upcoming selection season.


  • Little Things


It is an Indian web television series by Pocket Aces. It first premiered on Pocket Ace’s channel Dice Media in October 2016 with five episodes but later other seasons where released. It features Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal in the lead roles.

The story is about a couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai, Mithila as Kavya Kulkarni and Sehgal as Dhruv Vats. It’s a romantic and sweet story of them.  


  • Rajma Chawal


It is a comedy drama film directed by Leena Yadav, produced by Gulab Singh Tanwar and Aseem Bajaj.

This story revolves around a father-son relationship in today’s time. Rishi Kapoor as Raj Mathur, and his son Anirudh Tanwar as Kabir Mathur move from New Delhi house back to their old family house in Chandni Chowk after Kabir’s mother died. Kabir faces some difficulties leaving behind his friends and his music band back to New Delhi, for this father and son fights and lot things happen. But later Kabir fell for Tara through Facebook and lot more thing happen to their life. 


  • Bard of Blood


It is an Indian fictional spy thriller web television series based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Bilal Siddiqi. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by red Chilies Entertainment.

Starring with Emraan Hashmi in the lead role along with Kriti Kulhari, Vineet Kumar Singh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sobhita Dhulipala and more artist are there. It’s a story of an ex-RAW agent, follows by four Indian Intelligence officers belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW) who are compromised, before they can relay an important piece of information to India. They get capture and are about to be decapitated.


  • Typewriter


It is an Indian Horror web series, horror drama directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

It’s a story about a haunted house and a ghostly book. A new family move to town to that haunted house and the story begins. A group of school children when for exploring the mystery of the book names as “The Ghost of Sultanpur”. The story then moves to the typewriter which is haunted. School kids try to solve the mystery and fall for many troubles as well.


  • Guilty


It’s a 2020 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Ruchi Narain and written by Ruchi Narain, Kanika Dhillon and Atika Chohan. Produced by Karan Johar and Aneesha Baig.

It’s a story about a college famous guy who was accused by a rape case. His girlfriend tries to save him from this mess.
