After viewing Breathe, I began searching for Hindi shows. To my surprise, the listing was extensive, and Laakhon Mein Ek was among them.
This series portrays the ugly realities of the schooling system. Laakhon Mein Ek is a story of a boy who wants to become a mimicry artist, but his dad’s IIT coaching establishment forcibly admits him to prepare for IIT.
Akash tries hard to study and struggles to get good grades, but he couldn’t help himself cope with the syllabus. This puts a whole lot of pressure over a Boy, which drives him mad.
What makes this show more interesting that there’s no dragging or overacting. It delivers precisely what it’s made for. Most importantly, it reveals the hype of Indian coaching centers that act like machines.
The takeaway message is that doing what makes you happy is even essential, although not everyone can be an IITan, not everybody needs to take science education.
Because this is a teen’s journey, the majority of celebrities are. Direction, scripting, screenplay, and behaving are brilliant.
